slower premium?

hey all, when i first got premium (about 6 months ago) i got download speeds around 700 kb/s, but recently, im only getting 200 kb/s

anyone else noticed this?

Someone has complained about this, but it doesn't happen with anyone else.

Who is your service provider? Where do you live?

if ALL servers downloads in max 200KB/s the issue may be on your ISP not allowing more bandwidth from networks outside their area.

Do other links that's not on our site go up to 700KB/s?

well, i get more then 700 on torrents

Torrents uses several connection threads and can't be compared to a direct link.
Please try and download from another site with a direct link to see if you get a higher speed than you get at our page. If you don't, it's related to your ISP and not our servers.
If you do get more speed, please provide the link and I will investigate

I'm from England and my provider is Virgin, most of the day I only get 50k/s but the max I have got is 2.2mb/s, i'm on a 20mb line. Generally the premium seems to be a lot worse lately and also when I click links I generally tend to get 'File not found, go to the forum for help' etc etc

the File not found usually happens if you're watching the "unapproved" list where a movie haven't had time to sync to all the mirrors yet. However, EU #1 should always have a copy.

It's strange that you get 50KB/s, are you positive that you're not running any other bandwidth intensive programs in the background? Like torrents, or other p2p programs?

2.5MB/s is about as fast as you can get on 20Mbit
