Is it masking you're using?

Hey there!

I'm wondering about how to mask a certain color ...

For eg. when you've taken a clip from Wow Modelviewer, you want to separate the character from the backgroundcolor. Is it some sort of masking you're doing? And I've heard alot about Alpha color ... what is that? and how do you append it?

Do you append it in Vegas 6.0 or in Modelviewer 0.5 alpha?

Help plx
