Panning question

Is there anyway to pan two different layers so they move together? I am using Sony Vegas. I cant seem to figure out how to pan both layers in conjunction with each other instead of doing each seperately.

Push the two buttons at the right first to make them into children layers then hit the parent motion thingy and pan it around. Hf
