How will crit/hit/spellresist and such things work in TBC?

How does critical rating and such work, and wtf is resilience?
Been looking on the forum for an easy explanation, but i can't find one.

The crit rating is so that the higher level you are, the more rating you need to get 1% more crit.. this is made so people wont have 100% crit chance in the end. Dont know how much you need for 1% crit at level 60 tho

and the more resilience you have the less crit chance people have against you and the less their crits damage you
