Could you analyse this sample footage of my movie?
As you can see, there is some annoying flicker, I don't know why it happens...
Also, any tips you can give that would improve the movie. I need some help with blending in the character from model viewer into the background... Here is the sample. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kAfwt763xAM Thanks |

(off topic; interesting video clip... )
On topic: what is the main cause of the flicker? Does it occur on the original clip? Does it occur after rendering the clip? Does it occur only after adding effects? Try working step by step to solve it yourself (i dont know whats causing it, but im going to teach you to find out whats causing it yourself) Reconstruction that clip. 1) Watch the hard-footage, if thats good... 2) Put it in you editor, and render it. No effects, no nothing... if thats good.... 3) Now add your character model to the clip, render it.... if thats good... 4) now add your special effects... render it..... somewhere along the way you should figure out which step is causing the flicker.. come back if u find out what it is and we can try to help from there.

Ok
A few things I noticed : - Your background lags ( maybe recording issue ? ) try lowering fps when recording if it's not helping post your system specs maybe this will explain a lot - The chroma keyed character could use some tweaking ( in Chroma keyer use blur it will give your character a nicer look ) - Try playing with color settings so it becomes one piece oh yea for your flickering what codec did you use ? when you imported it in your NLE ? Other than that nothing to mention nice try ! |

nice job- a quick suggestion, slow down the background footage in comparison to your character model. he's walking a bit too slow for the path to be moving that fast.
if you want it to appear more realistic, either speed up the character model, or slow down the path footage.
