Fraps/Gamecam errors

Hello all,
recently I have been trying to record WoW videos with Fraps (full paid version). my computer has ok specs, so normally fraps actually runs pretty nicely, about 30 FPS while recording with graphic settings all on high during 10 mans and 15 FPS on 25 mans. I've googled somewhat extensively and I cannot find any other similar issues. I have a problem though: sometimes (at random) when I start recording using fraps, it will crash my WoW with a WoW error #132, or it will disconnect me from the server. Other times Fraps records perfectly fine with no errors whatsoever. I run Windows XP (32bit) and I have all of the latest video drivers and service packs installed, as far as I know. Additionally, I figured maybe it's a problem with Fraps. I DL'd Gamecam to try it out, but wow crashes at the LOGIN screen with a WoW 132 error when I use gamecam... at least I can get fraps to work perfectly fine sometimes. Additionally, I find that even if I do get fraps to work for extensive periods of time, I seem to get a memory leak and recording drops from 50->30->5->1->frozen FPS, although I simply solve this by not using fraps except for on bossfights.
Anyway, I could post a really long dxdiag and my specs, but I'm not sure why it would work 100% perfectly fine sometimes and then crash WoW in the same situation other times. Any help would be appreciated, especially if anyone else is having these same problems. Thanks!
Edit: I would also like to note that I do have 2x Nvidia 8800 GTX video cards. I've tried to alleviate this error by trying both SLI enabled and disabled, but have the same problem regardless.
