I haven't done anything whit MW for some time, but as i remember, you need to go into the Options tab and click settings. There you will see a bunch of files listed as CProgram Files\World of Warcraft\Data\xxx.MPQ (or wherever your client is installed)
the MPQ files are where the actual data is stored. In order to access PTR you need to click the Add button. Then go to where your Test version is installed(usualy the same place as your WoW, in the WoWTest folder. From there go to Data and add all the MPQ files to the list. Now im not an expert, but its possible that they need to be in a specific order, so if you get problems, try moving them around in the list. The files needed are patch-3.MPQ and (depending if your client is US or EU), patch-enGB-3.MPQ for EU, probably patch-enUS-3.MPQ for US. But i could be wrong! |
