Record with in game sound or no
In the past when I've made videos I haven't recorded with in game sound (pvp videos). Do people notice a difference? If so, what is the general preference?

Only thing that sucks about it is you can't talk on vent during recording. Aside from that I like to record sound just incase anything funny happens or if for some reason you have a scene without music, the sound helps.

Personally I always record with sound on. It's nice to be able to catch something funny on vent, and depending on the mood of your video you can game sound for a dramatic/intro/outro scene. But on that same note I think a video where every clip has game sounds can be distracting,
Worst case scenario is if you record with sound, you can just remove the audio track if you don't want to use it before rendering. |
