recording ventrillo

how can i record what is beeing told to me in ventrillo? i dont want to record what i say, but record what is beeing said in ventrilo tacs and such,

any help - tips about programs is welcome

Hey there. Two ideas here. First one is Easy Hi-Q Recorder, (http://www.roemersoftware.com/moreinfo5.html). Try the trail version. I think I still have the trail version and it works good. Second option is audacity (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/) All you need to do it change the input to "what you hear". I have never tried recording vent so gives those a try.

I can't even imagine why you would even want to. The quality is terrible.
But, if you must know. Here is how :
Of course, log on to Vent,then in channel you would either right click on the person or channel and hit VIEW,from there you will see record/playback.
The options are failry simple from there. When you record, it records to a vrf file, this essentially is seperate user stream audio. You cannot convert this file and can only use it on playback on Ventrillo.

Like bioman said, you would be better off using a seperate program to do the work. Audacity is an excellent suggestion I might add
