Dr. Divx and Web Player
I created a 26 second video in Adobe Premiere Elements 3.0 and exported the video as a lossless AVI. I dragged that file into the latest version of Dr. DivX OSS with the Home Theater, Better Quality setting and encoded the file (Blank 1.divx if it matters). This file will not play in DivX Web Player 1.4. It gives the "The downloaded video file is not a DivX file."
I've tried playing the video off my site through Web Player and off my HDD through Web Player, but I get the same thing for both. This leads me to the assumption that the file is the problem. Is there a specific setting in Dr. DivX to encode for the Web Player? Through some Google searches, I've found that Web Player 1.4 can cause this problem, but to my understanding this would be for all videos. 1.4 plays other videos posted on this site and others. Thanks in advance for your help, Vice |
