Dont know why but i did the exact same as in your tutorial ( triple checked ) with same versions of software and everything but still i get error and the message: "We were unable to upload the video file you selected. This is likely because the video is not in a compatible format."

I dont wanna take the movie and convert it to .divx too much as it compresses it and makes the quality worse

Any help highly appreciated! I just worked my ass of on my first wow movie for my guild and realy wanna upload it to Stage6!

EDIT: Ok it seems i've found the solution :p - i just had to find the place in DIVX converter where i can change to better quality when converting^^ Great guide btw! I couldnt upload the file as it was (.avi) after it so maybe you should show how to use Divx converter to make it a .divx file!

I have a problem. I followed your guide for all the settings (Props by the way, easy, simple setup for a great quality S6 movie) But when i try to Render As... It comes up with an interesting error about the codec.

This is the error message i keep getting:

Now i have just updated my DvX codec's...again to the latest and most recent but i still get this message.
I also double checked that i did everything you said to do on your tutorial.

I am using Vegas 7, can you help me?

Regards, Arcadies

Usually get that error if your Divx Profile is set to something that cant handle the resolution your trying to render in. Example if you got "High definition profile" you can only render in max 1280x720, but if you choose 1080HD you can go much higher. Try going into the Config of the Divx codec and change the profile to 1080HD and i think you'll get it working!

Hm, i changed it to 1080HD and it still came up with the same error window whilst trying to render.

Somethings totally screwed up i guess, and i have no clue what to do now

Hello!

I tried to follow your guide for making a WoW movie. Everything went ok, but when I open my movie it's really dark. How can I change brightness?
