Tried 1152x864 (worst) and 1260x960 (that example is 1260x960)

Jakeke, It seems to me that the recorded resolution is 630x345 so when you rendered it out into the 1260x960 it stretched it and made the quality worse. Try rendering it out to 630x345 and let me know if it is any better quality.

Also try rendering it out to Divx in the 126x960 and 630x345.

thats what i thought too, but i just followed stormragers directions.
1260x960 i play in. Btw full-size recording max resolution is 1152x864, so what happens if you film at full-size but with 1260x960 for example?

It changes to half size which if you play at 1260x960 then it would be 630x345.

That is what I was assuming was happening. Change the project settings to match the 630x345 then render it out and see if it fixes it any.

Also look at your recorded footage and see if it looks crappy; if it does then your final footage will not come out as good.

Also if you want to record in full-size and keep it full-size widescreen, record in 128x768 which will still give you widescreen and will be full-size with a lot better quality.

1280x960 (theres no such thing as 1260x960 either) = 640x480 so where the heck is the 345 from?

Also the last paragraph doesnt make much sense, I think you missed a zero somewhere..

Hey I was just going off what he was saying.

Yes I did miss a zero. It should be 1280x768.

1280x768 is the highest widescreen resolution that fraps allows a single-core cpu to record at in full-size mode.

Is that any better?

I have a 22 Inch Widescreen with 1680 x 1050. Now i would like to know, i record in Full Size 30 FPS. 2gb Ram ect. Intel 4 whatever. But i need to know in what resolution i need to record. Because if i record it now it chances to half size. Thanks alot

PS. If someone knows this, when i play the file the speed is 150% istead of 100% in some weird way, does anybody know how i can fix this?

Thanks in Advance
