compress avi?
I made a movie and its only 20 mins long. but 4 gigs?! I need to compress it but dont know how.
Here is info on it. 19 min 40 sec length 720 by 480 28771 kbps data rate 30307 kbps total bitrate 29 frames per second 1536 audio bitrate avi file 4.17 GB i have sony vegas 7.0. Can anyone help me? |

DV. oh boy.
First sort your project settings out to whatever your footage happens to be. Pixel aspect ratio 1, progressive scan, the resolution you run wow at, and the fps you set in fraps. After that read this: http://www.warcraftmovies.com/articleview.php?id=21 I realize that it's not perfectly up to date but you should be able to figure it out. Since you'll probably want to encode using virtualdub (mp3 sound ftw.. dumb vegas), you can save it using Lagarith: http://lags.leetcode.net/Lagarith_1314.zip in vegas.
