Need some help with rendering.

I'm needing some help with rendering. I'm experienced with Vegas, but somewhat of a noob at it as well.

I'm currently using Sony Vegas 8.0 (torrented), it works great! Except when I go to render. If I follow the guide that is stickied in this forum. It says it has a problem with the converting with the codec, which is "DivX 6.8.5 Codec (2 Logical CPUs)".

I using a wmv format at the moment, but my file size is huge.

Looking for some advice from a more experienced user.
