maximize FPS while recording
i've been messing around making arena videos and stuff on the side, and soon will be getting a 8800gts (thanks newegg!)
so i imagine that will help up my fps while frapsing alot i record full size, and hope to be at a constant 60fps so i get awesome quality and doesnt effect my response time, it seems when i fraps at 30 frames (my computer runs best when not trying to achieve 60 while recording) im not sure if its just the drop in framerate or what but i feel like im moving slow so basically im just looking for some tips to improve my framerate, a minor setting that can be altered in wow or something along those lines thanks! |

Just be sure you don't fraps in windowed mode, since that really gimps your fps while recording.
I record in fullscreen on a shitty laptop at a constant 60 fps aswell. And it works fine. |

When I am actually recording I switch to full screen for the best result. Other than that I play using windowed for my multi-monitors.

If you don't care about recording sound, turning that option off helped me quite a bit.
