Outland Zone Guide!

With The Burning Crusade so close, I thought I would put together a little guide about each new zone in outland since we are all going to be there!

(Zone / lvl / PvP zone rating)

Hellfire Peninsula -- 58-63 --Contested
Zangarmarsh -- 60-64 --Contested
Terokkor Forest -- 62-65 --Contested
Nagrand -- 64-67 --Contested
Blade's Edge Mountains -- 65-68 --Contested
Netherstorm -- 67-70 --Contested
Shadowmoon Valley -- 67-70 --Contested

Hellfire Peninsula: This is the zone you come to right as you enter Outland. The dark portal is on the east side.

This land was warped the way it is by the Dark Portals magic and the Burning Legion, It also hold one of the more famous raid instances in the expansion, Hellfire Citadel. If you can't grasp the concept of what this looks like, think of the Burning Steppes, supersized. The spacey sky is also a spectacular site. It really make you think you are on a chaotic world light years away from Azeroth.

Zangarmarsh: Head over here at about level 62. There's enough quests to last you well into 63 and possible just into 64. Two "new" factions can be found here - Cenarion Expedition(http://www.wowhead.com/bc/?faction=942 ) and Sporeggar(http://www.wowhead.com/bc/?faction=970 ), the latter of which you'll need to grind to neutral and friendly to obtain quests from. A new instance, Coilfang Reservoir is also located in this zone.

In the center of Zangarmarsh you'll find two PvP towers and one PvP graveyard. To obtain control of the zone your faction must first control the two towers, then bring in the faction flag from his/her respective town and place it within the graveyard(known as Twin Spire Ruins). Control will give your faction a 5% damage increase buff.

Terokkor Forest: Terokkar Forest is roughly a level 63-65 zone. Within it you'll find Shattrath City(http://www.wowhead.com/bc/?zone=3703 ), Auchindoun(level 64ish+ instance), and three new factions: The Aldors(http://www.wowhead.com/bc/?faction=932 ), The Scryers(http://www.wowhead.com/bc/?faction=934 ), and The Consortium(http://www.wowhead.com/bc/?faction=932). Both Horde and Alliance have thier own respective town/quest hub as well as that of Shattrath and Cenarion Thicket(a couple neutral quests south of here).

Like the other Outland zones, Terokkar too has a PvP tower system. These towers are located in the South (the Bonelands)and basically form a five point circle around Auchindoun. Each tower capture takes a good chunk of time, but the reward is well worth it - five percent damage and experience gain increase.

Nagrand: Nagrand is approximately a level 65-68 zone located in Outland. There are entrances from Terokkar and Zangarmarsh. Horde and alliance both have an outpost/quest hub here, Garadar and Telaar, respectively. Nesingwary has also set up a camp here(near the Northeast trail to Zangarmarsh) as well as the Consortium to the Northwest of Oshu'gun. You can also find a free-for-all arena(Ring of Trials) in the East.

The PvP objective of this zone is Halaa, a city located amongst the cliffs in central Nagrand. To gain control of Halaa, your faction must set up air rider posts at any of the four bridges into town(simply click on the posts/bomb wagons to do this). From this point your faction must make bomb runs against the guards in Halaa until all 15 are dead. Once the guards are dead head into town and occupy it until captured. Control of Halla provides a 5% increased damage buff as well as access to turn ins and Halaa vendors.

Blade's Edge Mountains: This zone like others has its own PvP objectives. The Zone is full of different Draykes.

Blade's Edge Mountains is a region full of knife-sharp mountain crags and axe-cut valleys. The green glow in the sky is part of the twisting nether - a floating energy that affects the remains of Outland and binds it together in a suspended phase. The mountains will be inhabited by humanoidal Rock Flayers, and will be located to the north of Zangarmarsh and to the west of Netherstorm.

Netherstorm: This zone is rumored to be the hardest zone to date. Such as EPL was before the Silithus addition.

Netherstorm is a land consumed by a everlasting thunderstorm, the only way to grow plants safely is to grow them and contain them in a biodome on a semi-realm level. Netherstorm is also home to the dungeon "Tempest Keep" which is a 4 wing dungeon, with one of them being a Raid wing which is rumored to require 25 players.

Shadowmoon Valley: Shadowmoon Valley is home to the The Black Temple, Illidan's Lair here in Outland! YAY!

I compiled this guide using material from: WoWHead, Wowwiki, Thottbot, and Allakhazam.

I hope you guys can find this usefull. If you have any additions that you would like me to add or if i had misspelld words/weird sentences, send me a PM.
