Which one is better?

I have some money, and I am thinking which program would work best for me? I have a macintosh just so you know if there may be anything else I forgot. So, I am deciding between Sony Vegas (I don't know WHICH verson to buy :(), Final Cut Express (People say it's a little disappointing), and Avid (not sure about this, I haven't heard muh about it). :)
