Haha, I'm gonna feel really retarded when the game is released, by then I've waited for it for a year! Oh well... You have to wait for good things!

Here's a map of the potential size of the gaming world in Age of Conan excluding instanced dungeons etc.

I am very skeptical about which games I like. Anyone who knows me can confirm this. AoC looks great, but I am afraid the game will be more along the lines of a system hog. When I see good looking games I am often reminded of how much more computer power it is required to just simply enjoy the game which means purchasing new computer hardware. Regardless of the minimum and recommended system configurations I know that I, myself, would have to get something twice as good to just play the game at its' full potential. Heck not even the development team knows what the minimum system requirements will be and the game is set to be released in the next four to six months.
So they have been doing beta testing since 2006, the game is claimed to be the most stable to date. Only playing it will give a true answer. |

What's the point in having such a big world? I would prefer a smaller one. The bigger world the bigger the chance to get lost. Or simply lose connection to where you're supposed to be.
The game seems nice, if maybe a bit requiring in graphics. Not sure my computer will be able to handle the game, but maybe I will have time to buy new computer until the game is released.

To be honest at this point you possibly will if you went into the beta. The specs up top are unofficial and can be lowered upon official release. The best place for you to check if you can run it is go to http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/referrer/srtest and select the game from the list, it will most likely ask you to install something, please accept it and install it.
