Couple of Starter Vegas Questions
Hey folks, I'm still getting acquainted with Vegas and have a couple of questions:
1. Is there a tool within Vegas to create/manage free-form masks, or is it typical that you create your masks outside of Vegas (say, with Photoshop) and then just import them? 2. Is there a way in Vegas to keyframe text so that you can animate a change in Font-leading? In otherwords, if I want to create the effect of a word on-screen with the letters moving slowly apart from one another, can I use keyframing to start with the leading of a small amount, and have the leading keyframed to a large amount at the end of the sequence? If so, I haven't quite figured out how to do this yet, and would appreciate any tips. Thanks! |

Did the tracking quickly for you. Easier to just show you than explain in words.
http://files.filefront.com//;8004062;;/ I don't know about Vegas masking because I work in After Effects, but if you select "Video Event Pan/Crop" and locate the timeline within that window, you'll see a "Mask" and check box option. Tick it, and you're at the masking controls.
