Vegas making movies appear fastforwarded?
Ok, I'm having a problem where my videos seem fast-forwarded even if the total playback of the video is the same time as the recording. It just appears like it's going double the speed. This doesn't happen for the entire video, but just for a few areas here and there. It's really annoying and something I don't want unless I add it in. What settings cause this? I've tested this with random 1m clips, and all I'm going is dragging the clip from 'Explorer' to the actual editing interface.
Program I'm using is Sony Vegas Pro 8.0. Any help would be appreciated. |

Anyone know? I'm recording fraps @ 50 fps and rendering at the default 29.97(?) fps. Is this the cause of the problem? If so, should I bump my fps on fraps down to 30?

Im spanish, so meaby me inglish is not very good xD.
In vegas pro if you right-click on the end-line of you clip and move (left=speed+, right=speed-) you clip's speed will be modified. If you have some way to translate im going to write in spanish all the explication xD En el vegas pro si clikeas y arrastras (derecha o izq) el final de un clip modificas su velocidad de reproduccion, para arreglarlo solo asegurate que no mueves ese final. gl |

I think it's your Fraps settings. In Fraps make sure in the Movies tab "No sync" is un-checked ie NO tick in that option. Leave that option blank or it will make parts of the movie seem speeded up.
