Fame

ermm sorry but im a bit of a noobie to this, it says i need 2 fame to comment on stuff and to get fame i watch movies.... well ive wathed about 6 movies since making ym account the other day and im still at 0...

whts up with it :S

To refrain from users making accounts just to just abuse the ratings/comments we made it where you have to download quiet a few movies in order to get your rating up

On a side note, just how exactly is fame calculated or accumulated? I just noticed recently that my fame dropped from 60+ to 48 almost overnight!!

While it isn't psychologically harmful, this certainly irritates me, considering i've been a member for 2+ years and downloaded somewhere near 1k movies.

It's because the fame was recently changed most of the fame gain use to be based on logins and it was to easy to gain fame that way.

So your logins do not count torward fame anymore.
