Fraps Sound in Vista
So, i have looked at a couple of threads relating to getting not only your ingame sound but also yourself when recording, there have been several solution to this but nothing seems to work for me.
I am running Vista Ultimate x64 using Fraps 2.9.8 and according to their website there should not be any problems recording since they have added plenty of support with Vista stuff, however i cannot get this to work. I have unmuted my microphone allowing me to hear myself, in Fraps i got 3 different settings for the sound when it records but nothing works like it should. I am using the onboard sound on my motherboard. Detect best sound input gives me 2 options via Vista Direct Stream, Stereo and Multichannel which only gives me ingame sound. If i check Use Windows input i only get my voice and no ingame sound instead... Anyone have any ideas? Do i have to run a seperate program for recording? Thanks for any reply that can help me out |

It seems like when i changed my default device from my Microphone to my Stereomixer i got all the sound working when recording, however it seems to go out of sync after a while even when in Fraps the "No sync" is NOT ticked.
