Slow down/speed up a video clip
This might've been asked before, but I'd like to ask again to make sure.
How do you slow down or speed up a video clip in Sony Vegas 7.0? -Rothicol

Right click on video clip in your timeline and select "Insert/Remove Envelope" then select "Velocity". A green envelope will appear. You can then add points and drag up and down to vary your clip's speed.
Holding Shift will let you "paint" the envelope, and double-clicking the line will add points. Right-click the line to see more options.

much easier if you just hold "crtl", mouse-click the clip and pull it until you have the wished length/slow/speed
