How can I get Static, flickering film fx on Vegas?
Hi all,
Bit new to the machinima thing and have spent the last week geting the kit together and learning the basics in Sony Vegas. One of the effects I have seen (and want to steal) looks like the horizontal hold has gone nuts, first few seconds of this movie for an example... (not mine btw) http://"http://www.warcraftmovies.co...eam=Filefront" Now, for the zombie in the diving helmet, i've figured it is a case of inserting lots of Keyframes and moving the pan/crop frame up and down the screen. (not sure about the sideways blurring bit... Any ideas how to loop the image? (the two orks saying "!" and "Flambringer vol 3") I.e., the top of the image wraps around to the bottom of the image. Lastly, any suggestions as to which video fx will let me flare the light in the image? I'm guessing it is something to do with a Generated Media solid white panel and fadeing between the two, but my experiments have failed miserably so far. Any tips or links to tutorials gratefully appreciated. I have had a troll of the forum and tried searching but not had any luck. Thanks - dm Last edited by deadmurloc : 02-14-2008 at 06:13 PM. |

Hey for the start of the movie he uses the "TV Simulator" effect in vegas. Mess around with that effect a bit and you'll get the idea on how you can do that
Looping can be done by copy pasting over and over. I don't think there is another way to loop. Correct me if i'm wrong on this (Btw those orks I don't think those are looped) I haven't noticed a light in the image. Can you point where this happens in the movie I must have missed it |
