Trying to render, failed.
Hello, I just tried to render my movie (Sony Vegas 6.0), I've followed a guide but it doesnt work well for me, I've got "DivX 6.8 Codec (2 Logical CPUs)".
I've no idea what I means, anyway. When I press save, then the error window pop ups. "An error occuried while creating the media file Untitled.avi." "An error occuried while converting with a codec." Maybe its just as simple to reboot the computer, but I'm not sure tho.. Any ideas? thanks New Problem: My Render is like 5 seconds on a 10 minutes long movie, and when I watch my clip, its only 1-3 seconds... uhm, what shall I change to render the whole movie? If you'd read the entire thread located here, Zap gives you a nice tutorial at the beginning and Mellun offers the solution to your problem at the end. I had the same problem and it works.

Vegas works in a mysterious way.
You have to select the portion (in the timeline) that you want to render and then do a "Render as...". |
