Em okay, if you haven't overclocked before dont bother with that

As I said try looking at the footage and see if there are fps drops there too.

Hi there, so im start thinking about making movies but i have 1 question. I play wow at 1440x900 because i have a wide screen but as u said on the guide the max fraps will handle is 1280x800, so my question is. Should i play wow on 1280x800 when i want to record?

Oh and one more thing, when i start recording in-game the yellow fps counter turns red and stabilizes @ 30 fps is that normal?

Tks in advance stay cool!

If your fraps version is newer than 2.8.0 *and* you have a dualcore computer fraps can record at 1440x900. If you've got a singlecore you should go 1280x800.

As to your second question, yes, that's perfectly normal.

I'm having some trouble with fraps.I'm playing at 1440x900.I got fraps 2.9 and dual core cpu.I dont have any problem when i record full-size but when i try to record half-size i dont see the picture only the sound. It's black screen with sound :S i dont know what is the problem. It wasnt like that beforehand.
Simply i dont wanna record at full-size because of the file size.Sometimes i need to record 10 mins and as you can imagine the file going to be huge.
I dont think its a codec problem but i couldnt figure it out...

F9 is the model viewer keybinding for removing all gear, bind fraps to something else
