downloaded a damaged wmv

sup. I dunno if this forum is for site admins to read and directly fix requests or if its just a regular user-driven forum. I also posted this in the *read before posting*-thread, but that thread seemed to be specifically for dead links, and that's not precisely my problem, so I'll post here aswell.

My problem is that i downloaded http://www.warcraftmovies.com/moviev...d=3421#mirrors
for nostalgia reasons, but when I tried to play it with VLC it wouldnt work. Just a super duper brief flash of the first frame of the video, then nothing more. I looked at other tech forums and concluded that the file probably is corrupt or damaged.

Is there some way for an admin to re-upload the file on warcraftmovies.com? Given that it is stored on a dusty server somewhere

[QQ]I even bought a subscription just to download this one movie[/QQ]

They don't have to refund you for downloading one single movie off the site and it being broken. You should have read the disclaimer. [Link]

Anyways if you want to know if it's actually broken or not you could upload it to Mega and ask a friend if they have similar problems with the video file. You could also try downloading K-lite codec pack and viewing it in the MPC-HC player it gives you and seeing if it's just a codec issue. If absolutely none of that works try emailing them directly to see if your issue can be solved.

^ none of these movies fully play in VLC/WMP. At one point or another the sound stops in (any of) the movie(s) and an error occurs. File is corrupted or something. Tried re-downloading and still same result. Some of the movies play 75% and stop working and some only play like 15%-25% in and don't play the rest.

Please fix.

Hoping I didn't pay $5 for nostalgia purposes only for it to not work at all.
i made the exact same type of post as you on that broken links thread. had the same problem, its clearly the archived. needs to be reuploaded
