The famous in-house Blizzard band: Level 70 Elite Tauren Chieftain wants you to make a video for one of their songs, It's called "Rogues Do It From Behind". Create a music video for the band, using footage from World of Warcraft and the song to win cool prizes!

Nice song, but movie less than 50 MB isn't that to small for movies?

The quality will be crap, but I suppose they only need it to get an impression of the vid. Nevertheless, I'll be competing for sure

Funny how the rewards for Europe and US have to be different (in favor of the US) - from what I reckon, there are at least as many good authors outside the US as inside, hence it's a rather odd way to twist the prices.. But oh well just ranting

Was wondering when someone would put this up on here. I'll be submitting from Europe here. Mind you i'm working on this in parallel with coursework submissions and exams but meh ^^

My internet is down so i should have plenty of time to work on some editing..

And yeah 50MB is really small..its lower than YouTube quality. But I suppose i'll submit the low quality version and maybe do a Higher Quality one for WCM

And I agree Martin, its a bit strange theres 2 different sets of prizes. The speakers might be nice but I don't need a headset..and what's a headset?
I'm doing this for fun and maybe just to get the video recognised ^^

Looking forward to seeing other people's attempts!

You can get pretty nice quality (bitratewise) to 50 mb if you got the right codecs and you're not trying to compress a HD res video to that size.

I'm not sure if I'll be participating, the song is kinda meh.. And the EU prizes, wtf?

True, the resolution i'd rather use is good but getting quite large after only a minute, so i may have to reduce it to a smaller one unless I find one that works better. Not really too worried about that yet, I need to finish it first..
