Wings 3D is another nice entry-level 3D package, and it's free!

You could give LightWave a shot.
Trial Version It's what I used to help Balgosa make one of the warcraftmovies.com movie intros. |

There really isn't going to be a program that you can just sit right down and start making 3d animations etc in without any studying and research. Pretty much every program listed in this thread is very robust. Dosen't mean you can't make a simple logo for your movie with alittle learning but nothing is just going to allow you to install it and be ready to go with no training or some type of tutorial.

If you post a screen of what you want your logo to look like I can try just for the fun of it too make you one. Hard to make a logo if I have no clue what you want. If you have any image program like photoshop or something try draw or create whatever shape/form you logo is supposed to look like and perhaps some text(your name or whatever), and give me a hint how you want camera movement etc. Im still playing around with 3d max but I figured a few things out. Ill give it a go just for the fun of it and cause I need practise cant promise anything though :p
