Help converting AVI file.

For some reason, the new promo clip Film Reel will not load into sony vegas 6 properly.

http://www.mmorpgforum.net/showthread.php?t=932

It loads the sound for the clip, but not the video portion. Can anyone help me get it into sony vegas, OR convert it to a wmv or different format AVI? I'd really appreciate it.

Sony Vegas will not load Xvid encoded files. To encode into a different format use virtualdub and it will read it after that.

edit: so yeah the guide system on wcm is bugged to hell and deletes all forward slashes, just use your common sense to figure out where they should be

I tried that article, bu the AVS file doesn't open in the VFAPI Reader for some reason, I'm still messing around with it trying to get it to work but so far no luck.

Is anyone else able to convert this for me and upload it so that I and many others can use it?

Here ya go.

Encoded in divx. Make sure you have that codec installed first or Vegas won't recognize it either.
