Error 2048 when streaming
Hi, I'm relatively new to video encoding and WHM. I got this "0: Error #2048" trying to stream the video I uploaded, after looking up the error it looks like it means the file format isn't recognized. I guess my question would be what file formats can I encode with ffdshow that are supported by the WHM stream? and is there a way to reupload my movie?
Any tips or pointers in the right direction would be much appreciated! btw, the movie was RezWarriors - Sorceress PvP encoded as XviD through ffdshow. Last edited by mijahu84 : 04-15-2009 at 02:29 AM. |

Hey there!
When videos are uploaded, you must give our servers a few hours for them to generate a HQ Stream. Our current stream system takes a little while to generate the streams, but we will very soon have a new system up! Regards. |

Hm, if WHM still wasn't able to render the stream properly is there a way for me to reupload it as a different file format for the WHM stream.

Hey there!
Best thing perhaps would be for us to delete your entry and then you would submit another movie with the new file format. Or, you could host the video in a mirror like Filefront, give us the link, and we would deal with uploading it ourselves for you and hopefully the stream will probably render the new file format.
