h264 codec movies dont get approved because of quality?
Hello,
my movie did not get approved because the quality was "too bad". I rendered it with the Lossless Lagarith codec in Sony Vegas (captured @ 1280x1024 @30 fps and rendered with the same settings). After that I encoded it in MeGUI using the h264 DVXDA HQ Template, automated 2 Pass, 4300 bitrate. It took me a shitton of time. The quality is close to ingame-quality, while maintaining 30mb/s. However, my movie did not get approved, because the quality is "too bad". So how on earth am I supposed to render my movie if the most modern and complex way of rendering is not enough to be "good enough" for warcraftmovies.com? I dont get it. You cant only read the chat in every single scene, you can even see my keybindings, hell, even how much water i still have left, without even going into fullscreen mode. I spent a week rendering and uploading it and I can throw it all away now, because the quality is not good enough, though i followed a guide on this same forum rendering it? LOL? |

Perhaps it was quality of content?
I don't really know - I used x264 @ 4500 bit rate and it got approved fine. |
