Actually , after some delving more into it..I was wrong...lol once again.
Try your .Wav files, under speech-enUs. I know they are there..you just have to do the search using your audio file extension under each file offered in your DATA directory. But, like I said..what I "think" your looking for will be found in your Data>speech-enUS and using .Wav for your Compact List Last edited by lordrushx1 : 04-25-2009 at 09:10 PM. |

Ok Luke...I have this now verified. I was bound and determined to get this for ya...lol so,I haven't used this program in quite awhile and decided to download it myself because I KNOW those sounds are for sure there. Apparently with the new patches in wotlk there is some prevention for extraction of certain MPQ files. Now that I know whats going on..here is what we gotta do.
First off...you will need to download this MyWarcraftStudio I went on and did my own research and I have found exactly what you are looking for. Here is what you need to do. Open the Application. Open File>Data>Common-2>Sound> Now...under the sound heading there are SEVERAL folders that will give you sound effects. These are all general sfx that can be from spells, foley, ambient, character, creature, emitters, interface, event, vehicles. All in all 14 Folders of sound fx with alot of them having sub folders. Weapon SFX will be listed under Items and have many different folders and types to choose from. Let me know what ya come up with, but..I really think this is it =OP |

Ok its works like a dream thanks so much
For everyones future reference. this is where you go: with the MywarcraftStudio, Go File > open, (find wow in program files and go to Data) Data> Common.MPQ, then you get a bar on the left with folders go to Sounds and its all there EVERYTHING |
