Upload problems
Hello I'm having a problem with the uploading. The upload goes well for a while, but then suddenly the page shows "The page can't be loaded". I'm trying to upload around 324 mb, and I upload with a speed around 52 kb/s. I'm using the 7.0 IE. and now I uploaded a "half movie" (id: 34423). Is there anything I can do to prevent the page/connection to be terminated, or any upload program that I can use to upload. I've done several attempts and I've spended several hours trying to upload the movie to WCM . Same result all the time, page suddenly wont get loaded?.. Please help
PS: Sorry for my post in the wrong section. Best regards. Last edited by Veneratio : 01-07-2007 at 08:26 AM. |

Seems like I'm unable to get any answer from any admins or moderators. But I hope that you could please delete the uploaded movie:34423, since the upload never got finished, because the connection was terminated during the time I was uploading.

I don't know what the problem is so this question is more for the admins I'm sure they will answer sometimes they are just busy.

I firmly suggest you revert back to IE 6, version 7 is very unstable and can possibly make your computer have no internet connection with any browser at any moment. When that happens the only thing to do is format and start over. Simply just go into Add or Remove Programs and find Windows Internet Explorer 7 and then click it, then click remove, it will automatically revert back to 6 at that time. I also suggest getting FireFox for a backup browser just in case there is an error while uninstalling IE 7. 95% of the time you wont see this problem but with all of the customers at the ISP I work for, 1k of them had an error while uninstalling. This is a Microsoft issue so I hope the best to you.

Hello thanks for the answer,
Today my movie got rejected, and I deleted IE.7.0 and Installed Firefox. I've then tryed to upload the movie again. When the upload was at about 52%. The page went to another page, saying that the Connection to the server was resetted (terminated). So now I tryed to upload through your htmluploadscript and It failed again. Is there any chance that an admin could please delete my uploaded file and perhaps download the movie from one of the mirrors, cuz I'm getting tired of wasting my time on uploading the movie, where the connection to the server gets resetted... |

If you provide a FileFront mirror our server will download it automatically and you wont have to worry about uploading it.

I've already added a filefront mirror and megaupload mirror. But the process is saying: "5% A problem has occured. Reupload the movie." The filefront link have been there all the time: http://files.filefront.com/Laydown__.../fileinfo.html
Thx in advance |

Filefront movies will get downloaded eventually, but not as quick as uploaded movies.
Check to see if your internet provider is using a proxy, and disable it if possible. Disable any spam/javascript blockers and possibly anti virus software while uploading. Also close any programs that uses your upload, such as Torrents or other p2p software. Unfortunately there is no way to resume an upload I would suggest keep using Firefox
