Help! First step.
Okay let me first start by apologizing for my pathetic noobness. I am just beginning my movie making adventures and have come to a problem.
I have been FRAPsing some WoW footage and finally gathered 500GB worth of various clips. My second hard drive is full and only maybe 20% of my footage is worth keeping. Again I apologize for what is probably a silly question, but how can I chop the useful pieces out of these clips and discard the rest for more space? I'm not yet ready to start my movie, I'm just wanting to free up space for more takes. I'm using Premier and maybe I'm misunderstanding, but the only way I can see is to set In and Out points and render each clip separate. This seems cumbersome and time consuming. Is there a simpler way? If I do have to render each clip, would I just set it to Desktop edit mode, match my FPS an resolution, File format: Video for Windows, Compressor: None to get my edited clip the same as my other Frapsed footage?
