Hello,I know this might sound a bit off-topic but stil let me try to bring it on-topic.Im quite new to movie editing,and i was wondering if you guys could offer me some tips? this is what i've been working on http://warcraftmovies.com/movieview.php?id=162073 please watch it and tell me whats good/wrong any tip/help is apreciated.

00:00 - 00:08: That didn't work out for me. I really had to focus to read it. Would try to animate the text instead of shaking the entire world. Try to use the sound to catch the audience, don't make the picture overdramatic. Would recommend doing some research in Adobe After Effects if you got that available.

00:08 - 00:15: Slowmotion can be a good thing, however it's a known problem that it will cause lag in the movie. Seing lag in such an early stage of the movie will make the audience click away from the site very quick.

00:15 - 00:25: I love the idea of putting some "machinima" into it. If you wanna take a further look into the machinima genre, I can suggest looking into my guide. Browse through my movies at warcraftmovies.com.

00:25 - 00:33: Cool effect with the keyboard. Did you make that yourself? Again, would recommend After Effects for the text. I do admit that the text fits the background, but it's way to "Standard Vegas Text", if you know what I mean. We've all seen it 1000 times before, hence it's loosing the original feeling.

00:25+: Not much to say about the PvP itself. The most important thing to keep in mind is the syncing. There is a sticky post of "How to make a PvP movie" around here, would definately recommend it.

00:38: The background and the text was totally random to me. You just changed the style completely. The text was also boring to look at. I just watched the second trailer of Jack's Icecrown movie, and the text there is not boring at all. Check it out:

Don't make a copy, however try to find inspiration

For the rest I believe you gotta look further into the PvP guide. It's a nice start, and I'll wish you good luck with the project
