MMORPG - why?

I'm doing a project about realism in computer games, more specific MMORPG and MUD genre. And I hope you guys would help me a little here, with answering a couple of questions.

Why do you enjoy playing MMOs?

What MMO(s) do you play?

Do you play MUD(s)?

If yes, then why?

And tell a little about yourself, like what your age and work are. Kids, married stuff like that. (need to make an analyse about what kind of people play MMOs/MUDs)

Well, I enjoy playing MMOs because there is a certain sense of heroism. Your accomplishments lead you toward a goal of worldwide notice. You want to raise your abilities to an extent that you earn some sort of fame in the game. I know that is a part of my reasoning. I also like that I can escape from everyday norms and log into a completely different world where my avatar does not just sit behind a desk all day. Instead, I can roam untamed wilderness and defeat enemies.
I currently only play one MMO and that is Ryzom.
I do not play MUDS.

I am a 21 year old male. I am an editor's assistant for the FCEA and I attend Florida Southern College. I am not married and have no children. I am in a committed relationship though.

I couldnt agree with slessman more.. I like to play MMO's for the same reason, to like achive some kind of Celeb, status on a game, and to get away from the everyday stress.

And i mostly play Browser Based MMO's cause of my outdated drivers.
And i play like 20 different MMO's on the same time soo.

Im not even sure what a MUD is ^^

Im a 14 year old boy. Im currently in Middle School, and single
