still problem with Beta Registration - Page 9

This just ain't gonna happen. Mythic are just too young in this industrion and can't even keep a login server up for more than a few hours. And come on, everyone knows flash sites can't handle so many people. I belive if it was a normal php bases webbie it wouldn't have any other problem than "page can not be displayed" due to the rush, nothing a few refreshes can't fix. But nooooo, we have to show off some skillz - "why don't we make the most beautiful and useless site ever" ?. Anyways I thought the beta would be a way to check if the game is worth buying, but well, its not even close. I can't imagine what will be like when something happens. I don't know if any of you remembers when blizzard took the giant step towards WoW's open beta, it was a hell ride but they managed to keep everything going. I can't explain to myself, how buggy a server must be so it says "you are already logged in" when you don't even have an account.

I really hope you all enjoy the game and everythings go without problems when it goes live. But really - how can you host a MMORPG when you can't even keep a web-site stable?

damn. did u just need a few hours to loose faith in the game totaly?
u right about the flash site thing.
but come on. can't loose faith just for that.
It piss me off that I can't play beta when I wass supposed to, but if the real thing is good I will forget all about how pissed I was today.

they havn't posted anything on news for like 6 hours or something.

and right now it's seems like they don't even do something to make it work

well its a sunday (very bad time to try a launch.. office staff will be at a minimum and u can guarentee all the players will try and play the game).
My guess is they will announce a successful launch and a 'few' ppl had trouble accessing the game.. so they ill just keep it closed for the majority and let the ppl at the office solve the issue on monday.
Shame really... as its been a frustrating/wasted day

as for the site itself.. yeh flash sites are great for display but really suck with high player usage... u must laugh at that or cry :p

today they say all problems will be solved at noon so it's 12:03 on my watch (and i think they use the same time zone) and...nothing happened
