Fraps Interface Project
Hello all, I’m studying interaction and usability at uni and as part of this I need to redesign an interface. I’ve chosen fraps because of its simplicity and now I need to do some data gathering. Would really appreciate it if anyone out there who uses fraps could answer the questions below.
Fraps Interface Questionnaire In order to improve the Fraps interface data needs to be collected about who uses the program, how they use it and what they use it for. Please answer questions in the format; question number: answer. For example: 3. Video capture • 1. Age: 3-17, 18-25, 26-35, 36-45, 46+ • 2. Sex: Male, Female • 3. What do you use Fraps for? Video capture, Screenshots, Both • 4. Have you ever used the Help feature in Fraps? Yes, No • 5. If yes, did you find it useful? Yes, No, Not applicable • 6. When assigning hotkeys for the first time did you find the procedure clear or did you try typing the key e.g ‘f’ ‘9’? Clear, Not clear • 7. If you use Fraps for video capture do you alter the frame rate? Yes, No, Not applicable • 8. If you use Fraps for screenshots do you alter the format images are saved in? Yes, No, Not applicable • 9. Have you altered the save location for either video or screenshots? Yes, No • 10. Do you display the frame rate or disable it? Display, Disable • 11.
