Rejected movies
I'm no Tanzim.
Or Olibith. Or Drakedog. I don't use ModelViewer, and prefer to keep my editing minimalist. I don't have the computer horsepower to film HD and keep that HD quality in post-production. Nevertheless I'm kind of non-plussed why a few of these got rejected: http://files.filefront.com/WIPE+DRUI.../fileinfo.html http://files.filefront.com/LITTLE+RE.../fileinfo.html http://files.filefront.com/COLD+BEER.../fileinfo.html So the first one is just a little fun take on wiping your guildmates on Ony. Old content - ok, I understand WCM not wanting to put up old content stuff. I just thought it was kind of funny. Missing vent laughter, I know, but it took a while to figure out how to record vent on a Mac. Second one is again old content, the old Hunter epic bow quest filmed without UI. P.i.t.a. to put together for me, first time I've tried doing anything cinematic. Ok, old content is a good reason to reject it. Plus it honestly isn't all that good. Then why post here? Don't want to cry on anyone's shoulder, really, just wondering why all three got rejected, since there's a fair amount of worse stuff accepted. The third one at least was a pvp video mostly. With some really fun and exciting fights, I thought. Not often you find yourself winning a hard-fought battle against someone 5 levels above you in world pvp. I thought for a bit it was due to the divx format, but ?? So I just finished editing a rework of the last one - re-using two of the world pvp fights that I thought were simply too good to pass up, I'll post the link here while I upload it to WCM and hopefully get it approved. Would love to hear your comments on which, if any, of the movies should be accepted on WCM. My previous work was a long time ago, using Windows Movie Maker mostly, back when WOW was still fresh, so let's not talk about that old crap. Here's the final product, approved and currently in queue to get released: http://files.filefront.com/Coldbear+.../fileinfo.html Last edited by parl2001 : 08-06-2008 at 12:09 PM. |
